Nearly every day we have something new in front of us, whether that’s a new opportunity, a new project, or maybe in your personal life, you want to go on a new adventure. And it’s at that point where you might be the type of person who just says, “Great, I’m going to dive in, I’m going to go do it right away.”
Or you may be more like me, where you need to do a little bit of research, you need to gather some information, do some pros and cons, do all of that data digging. I don’t know if I’m naturally like that or if it’s due to the fact that I worked at a data company for nearly a dozen years, but if you are like me, where you like to do the research, it’s not a bad thing.
But perhaps you’ve gotten to a point with something where you think, okay, I think I’ve got pretty much everything, but something’s missing. Or I’ve started to go here and something’s not feeling right. And what do you do? You continue to go back and do more research and gather more data. And look, this has become even more advanced with the adoption of AI.
AI is a wonderful tool that can bring you nearly all of the data within seconds, it’s amazing. But when you get to that point where you’re like, I’m not quite sure, something’s missing, this is where we need to flip what our action is. Because while AI can provide you the information, it’s the conversations that bring these things to life – and I mean conversations with a real human being.
It’s time for you to step away from that screen, get out from behind your computer, and go bring these conversations to life.
This is where the next step reveals itself. This is where you get that live sounding board, that true feedback. So again, I encourage you, take a look. Do you realistically have all of the information you need? I’m going to guess that you probably do if you’re like me, and are you just sitting here spending that time digging and digging even more because you aren’t really aware of how important it is?
Or maybe you don’t always love to be in these conversations. But again, the conversations bring these things to life. It’s where you’re going to advance well beyond just the technology and the information piece. So today, I challenge you to take what you’ve got, get into a conversation, and use that human interaction as your real-life sounding board. I know that it’s going to be a catalyst for you to the next step.
