A friend of mine forwarded me information about a gentleman who trains speakers on how to grow their business. And because I love to learn and I’m always looking for new ways that I can expand my reach, I decided to attend his one-day training.
And it had nothing to do with something I ate! It was about the message that was being delivered during that training. And let me be clear, it wasn’t a scam. What this gentleman said he was going to deliver, it appeared that it was in fact delivered. But it was the product, the thing he was saying he would give you, is what I had the issue with. I made it through to lunch, painfully, and I didn’t return for the second half.
We live in a world where everybody seems to be wanting to get to their goal, to the promotion, to growing their business so quickly. I’m not in any hurry.
Even if it means it’s going to take me two, three, five times longer, and I’m going to sweat and cry and stumble and hurt myself. As long as I stick with the integrity of what I believe, I am okay with that.
Where are you trying to get to? Are you staying true to your beliefs? Make sure that the choices you’re making as you’re trying to get from A to B fulfill on integrity, your values. Don’t jeopardize or risk your beliefs because you think it’s going to get you to that next point so much quicker. Stay true to who you are, hold on to that integrity!
Comment below, I would love to hear your thoughts about integrity.
